A Post to End the Year

2017, for my family and I, started with a massive loss when my grandad died on my birthday. I've also seen good friends lose people they love, and it has broken my heart. The main theme for me this year, and to continue into years to come, is to keep holding those you love ever so close <3

Good times have mingled with the sad: summer walks and nights with friends, treasured times with good friend's babies, and welcoming new ones <3 wedding planning, swimming in the sea in the rain with my sister, moving in with my fiancee (finally!) I've cared for poorly babies, invested in tropical fish, seen Dean graduate from university and complete his first shift, then many more. I've spent a day of the summer at Dartmouth Regatta, reuniting with cousins. My sisters, partners, and I helped our mum move house and said goodbye to our childhood home. We've since had many good nights in the new one :) me and Dean spent a drunken night celebrating a friend's birthday dressed as characters from Harry Potter. We've put up our first Christmas tree, and we've opened our home to a rescue cat called Paddington.

Here's to 2018, may we continue to learn, love, and be loved <3 wishing you all a very Happy New Year!
